Soon we will be uploading to our website all the appropriate and necessary information for all our friends in the US that are willing to make tax-deductible contributions to the Foundation…

The Black Jaguar-White Tiger™ Foundation is accredited by the Mexican Government as a Premises or facilities managing wildlife (Predios o Instalaciones que Manejan Vida Silvestre PIMVS). Founded in the articles 27, 26 and 32bis of the constitution with the internal ruling of SEMARNAT. This incorporation is granted to perform maintenance activities, protection, research and environmental education, through social networks, of Tiger, Leopard, Lion, Jaguar, Cheetah, yaguarundí, ocelot, Bobcat, grizzly bear.
This dependence has made the analysis of the management plan submitted concluding that meets specified in Article 78a of the General law of wildlife.

We always have kids because breeding facilities are still allowed to function in our country, something that the Mexican Government, @antoniofranyuti @_animalheroes_  and us are trying to change. 8 months ago that we asked publicly to help tag @iamdiddy to ask him for a donation to help us rescue 87 Animals? Well, we wanted to buy them out, in order to retire their Animals from being bred at the biggest Lion breeding facility in Latin America.
To raise a cub is a very expensive and hard thing to do, both technically and time consuming. Sometimes, when a first time mom at a breeding facility rejects her litter (80 percent of the time they reject them), they contact us to see if we would like to take care of them WITHOUT PAYING FOR THEM.
Being the most famous Sanctuary on the Planet, sometimes we are contacted every week, especially during mating season. To buy a Lion Cub is very cheap here in Mexico, so sometimes we spend 2 or 3 times the money of what a Lion cub costs only in transportation and veterinary services for one single rescue than what it would cost us to buy a cub if we wanted to.
Remember baby Ronda’s Umbilical cord infection? Limubai and Generalito’s Pneumonia when we got them? Phoenix had to be transported by plane in order to try to save him. You’ve seen trailers and trailers arriving with rescues from the circus which we can’t interact with, so from an economical point of view they only cost money to cure, transport, house and feed.
Do you know how hard it is to load a trailer with Lions, Tigers, Leopards or Jaguars? Do you know how many people are needed and how expensive that is?

But why do we do this? For the sake of those Animals. And you know what is funny? That we are the only Sanctuary in Mexico for Big Felines and we DO NOT have a license to breed or sell Animals. We would be shut down by the Government @semarnat_mx immediately.

We have 2 stages. Stage 1 is the nursery equivalent. If we rescue an Animal at a young age they are properly cared for in a smaller home setting where they can be constantly monitored and fed every couple of hours. They are constantly getting human warmth and attention so they can develop and grow in a nurtured and loving environment. Stage 2 and 2b consists of 30 acres of land for our babies to run freely and safely without harming one another or risking danger. Stage 3 is coming soon. It will be hundreds, more likely thousands, of acres for our babies to live their lives happily, free of poachers, and safe from the other dangers and threats that society has placed on the environment.
We only give them KMR kitten formula. It is the best in the world. Big Cats are allergic to lactose so it is important that one does not give them anything but the recommended formula. Many zoos and circuses cannot afford the formula and substitute with condensed milk, cow’s milk, or other insufficient alternatives. This is not safe for any feline and will result in malnourishment.
Chiquitin became a part of our family at 2 months old. Since the day we brought him home there has been no convincing him that he is not a lion. He grew up with Cielo, Tierra, Dharma, and Karma. Chiquitin acts accordingly with whomever he is around and for this reason he will always be safe and one with the family. If that was not the case then he wouldn’t be with them.

ABSOLUTLEY NOT. None of our kids are spayed or neutered unless they come to us like that. We prefer to use less invasive methods and technology, the oldest method is to separate the female from the male when she is in heat, our most usual option is giving birth control injections every six months. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, we would Love that someday in the future our rescues could help repopulate the Jaguar, Lion, Tiger and Leopard population. It is very easy to spay or neuter them, but perhaps in 10 years or so things will change and we would have recovered their natural habitat. ALWAYS THINK BIG. ALWAYS…

This is a common and misleading question. Unfortunately, none of our rescues have ever set foot into the wild because humans forced them into lives of captivity since birth. So the answer is no. We will not send them back into the wild, because they were never there in the first place and their chances of survival in an unfamiliar ambient would be low. The bigger issue here is that the wild is disappearing at an exponential rate. It would seem that the majority of humanity has made it their mission to destroy our Mother Earth. If this continues, the “wild” will no longer exist. Help us raise awareness of this issue and do everything you can to protect our planet. It all starts with you…

We do not have an active volunteer program at The Foundation but if this were to change we will let our following know via social media.
We do encourage all our supporters to pitch in by helping us spread the word on environmental responsibility and the damage we are doing to the planet. If we all advocate ourselves to teaching people to take care of our planet we can still save it.

You can donate through our website at any time through PayPal or credit card, we also have a 501(c)3 status which allows you to get a tax break. and don’t worry it’s all safely protected from theft. Thank you very very very very very very very much.
We feed our rescues Chicken necks because they have the best balance of Taurine, Calcium, and Protein. Many of our babies come to us with a calcium deficiency as a consequence of the poor diets that they received in zoos, breeders, circuses, or whatever harsh environment they came from. Chicken necks rapidly facilitate and ensure proper nutrition and health and help our babies avoid the costs of a poor diet such as arthritis, skin and coat problems, injured ligaments and bones, severe pain, constipation, liver and bladder problems, as well as more severe problems such as the breakdown of heart, nerve, and muscle tissue. But besides chicken necks we feed them beef, horse and goat.
As a team who prides themselves on treating all beings with love and respect, we trust that we will receive the same back. However, our team members are aware of our boundaries. Some have more experience with the babies and have raised them since they were only days old. It is the bond of pure and innocent Love that keeps us living harmoniously among one another. We are family. However true this is, please don’t take it as an invitation to begin rescuing cats on your own. It takes full-time commitment, awareness, experience, and all of the right resources to successfully care for these rescues. Please do not let our relationship with these beings fool you. Remember that they are strong, fearless, animals and this fact should not be taken lightly.
No. We DO NOT sell our rescues. Animals are not something to be owned as property. They are living beings, just like you and me, and should be treated accordingly. We rescue Animals from circumstances forced upon them by this cruel world and give them the closest thing to the life that they deserve.
